Lot of 8 'Vue Optique' with the typical vivid coloring. Printed in Paris by Jachez Chereau in the mid-18th century. views with the help of an artificial light source. These prints were cut out to be inserted into the magic lantern (laterna magica), which allowed the projection of the views with the help of an artificial light source.
