Rare and signed by Euainetos. Struck on a very large flan. Nice old cabinet tone, hight relief, very attractive goddess portrait. Extremely fine - good extremely fine.

« The dekadrachm of Euaenetos seems to have been more generally admired than any other coin in antiquity (as in modern times), except perhaps the tetradrachm by Kimon with the facing head of Arethusa; both obverses were often copied in other mints. » Barclay Vincent Head, Historia Nummorum
