AN EMBROIDERED SILK FEMALE ROBE
China, Qing dynasty, 19th century

The exterior with a pink ground decorated with 'tone-on-tone' stylized flowers and geometric motifs, on which finely polychrome embroidered medallions with vases with flowers, the borders also profusely embroidered in polychromy with florwers and auspicious objects, yellow inner lining.
