Sesto Bruscantini (Civitanova Marche 1919 - Civitanova Marche 2003)

From childhood, his theatrical talent "reciting" the Minuet by Luigi Boccherini at the age of eight. In 1939 he sang in the musical comedy The Geisha Sidney Jones at the Teatro Beniamino Gigli Civitanova Marche (now Teatro Rossini). The young Bruscantini had been "bewitched" by the work, achieved in particular by the Mephistopheles of Julius Blacks. While earning his law degree, dashed the hopes of a lawyer father and, encouraged by successes in small concerts, thanks to one music lover uncle, he continued his musical studies, making his debut in 1946 in the hometown as Colline in La bohème.
