Franco Bordoni (Bologna 1932 - Casalecchio di Reno 2020)

The son of a barber and a housewife, she enrolled in the conservatory U.K. Martini in Bologna who leaves after two years and continued his studies as autodidact listening and assimilating vocal technique on the discs of Beniamino Gigli and Carlo Tagliabue.

He debuted in 1953 at the Teatro Nuovo in Imola in La Bohème by Giacomo Puccini in the role of Schaunard.
