Lucrezia Bori, nome d'arte di Lucrecia Borja y Gonzales de Riancho (Valencia 1887 - New York 1960)

He made his debut at the Teatro Adriano in Rome on 31 October 1908 in the role of Micaela in Carmen (opera), and sang then in the role of Manon in Manon Lescaut, with Enrico Caruso, conducted by Arturo Toscanini in the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris in June 1910, in the Metropolitan Opera House trip for which debuts; was the first interpreter of the Italian part of Ottaviano in The Knight of the Rose R. Strauss, the Scala conducted by Tullio Serafin in March 1911. Always with Serafin at La Scala in December is the guardian of geese and daughter of the manufacturer nor the Sons of king of Engelbert Humperdinck. At the Metropolitan Opera House debut in the title role in Manon Lescaut in November 1912, again with Caruso and in the same month is Gilda in Rigoletto, Nedda in Pagliacci and Mimì in La bohème, in January 1913 Antonia in The Tales of Hoffmann, in 'April Norina in Don Pasquale conducted by Toscanini, in January 1914 it Fiora L'amore dei tre re Toscanini in March Lucinda in The love doctor, in November, Micaela in Carmen in April 1915 Iris. In 1914 Alma premiere in the Colón Theater in Buenos Aires Sueño de Alma Carlos López Buch with Giuseppe De Luca led by Serafin and Nedda in Pagliacci with De Luca Caruso and Toscanini at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. It was considered one of the best singers designers of his time. Photographic portrait artist autographed Mr. Arthur Hayez.
