Box with plate in silver

Jewelery box in light wood, with embroideries probably in silver applied to the two upper corners, and a uniface plaque in 800 punched silver, depicting Gabriele d'Annunzio in profile with an alpine cap as a Colonel, and caption that reads EIA PATRIA DEL CARNARO ALALA ' ! - The plaque reproduces the reverse of the medal designed by Giannino Castiglioni, for the regency of the Carnaro, Rijeka period 1920-1921. The box measures approximately 17x14x6 cm, the plate approximately 58x78 mm. In very good condition
