English sterling silver Georgian cheese dish warmer - London 1787, mark of BENJAMIN LAVER

of oval shape with family crest, hinged lid and turned wood handle. Hot water fills the lower basin, ensuring one's cheese remains melted. Fully London 1787-1788, silversmith Benjamin Laver (Ref. Jackson's page 58, Grimwade page 27 nr 188). Height x width x lenght 11 x 26.5 x 32 cm with handle. weight 692 gr. Item condition grading: ***** excellent.
