Two English sterling silver centrepieces - London 19014, mark of WAKELY & WHEELER

on a tripartite base with supports decorated with winged sphinxes; contemporary cut glass cups. Sterling gilded silver, fully hallmarked London 1914-1915, silversmiths Wakeley & Weeler. (Ref. Jackson's page 70, Culme Vol. 2 page 340 nr. 11594-1599).
Dimensions and weights: largest, height 26 cm, diameter 22 cm, total weight 1797 gr, silver weight 727 gr; smallest, height 15 cm, diameter 6.5 cm, total weight 446 gr, silver weight 170 gr.
Item condition grading: ***** excellent.
