Italian silver four pieces tea and coffee set with tray - Milan 1940s, mark of ENRICO MESSULAM for BIAGINI

including teapot, coffee pot, cream or milk jug, sugar bowl and tray. The lids with ivory finals (Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758 or Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797) . 800/1000 silver, the pieces hallmarked "800", "32 MI" and Biagini Perugia", silversmith Enrico Messulam, the tray hallmarked "800" and "3 VC", silversmith Castaudi and Gautero. Dimensions and weights: teapot 23 x 10 x 20 cm, weight 470 gr; coffee pot 26 x 11 x 14 cm, weight 436 gr, milk jug 6 x 11 x 12 cm, weight 128 gr; sugar bowl 10 x 18 x 11 cm, weight 289 gr; tray 60 x 40 cm, weight 1717 gr. Total weight 3040 gr.  Item condition grading: **** good. Accompanied by Ce.S.Ar. Centro Studi Archeometrici certificate of antiquity (pre-1947).
