Maximianus Herculius (286-310), Argenteus, Siscia, c. AD 294; AR (g 3,41; mm 18; h 12); MAXIMIA - NVS AVG, laureate head r., Rv. VIRTVS M - ILITVM, eight-turreted camp gate in front of which the four tetrarchs swear over tripod. RIC 32b var (reverse legend).
Cabinet tone, minor cleaning marks, extremely fine.
