Pair of portraits of gentlemen of the Roman nobility (a- Eugenio Winterhalter; b- Augusto Ruspoli?)

a) Oil on cardboard, 25x21 cm. Framed;
b) oil on cardboard, cm. 26x21. Framed.

a) The painting is signed and dated at lower right: "EDUARD ENDER 1841". The frame on the back bears two inscriptions in pen: "ZIO EUGENIO"; in black felt-tip pen: EUGENIO WINTERHALTER (1806-1873);
b) the painting is signed and dated at lower left: "EDUARD ENDER 1841". The mount on the reverse bears an inscription: "AUGUSTO RUSPOLI".
