The beautiful sculpture depicts a "Togatus" wrapped in a beautifully draped tunic and holding a small plate in his right hand.

A sculpture of considerable size, it has a thick black patina and is mounted on a fine antique half-column base, this one composed of a cylinder of fine purplish marble resting on a light gray circular "torus."
