Indo-Portuguese bone carving depicting Saint Francis Xavier - Goa, 17th century

Saint Francis Xavier, co-founder with Saint Ignatius de Loyola of the Society of Jesus (Jesuit Order), modelled standing with polychrome gilt highlights.
Height x width x depth: 10.5 x 2.7 x 2.5 cm. Weight 64 g.
Item condition grading: **** good (missing hands and minor defects commensurate with age and use).
Accompanied by Ce.S.Ar. Centro Studi Archeometrici certificate of authenticity.
