Italian silver three bottle stand - early 20th Century, mark of BASIOS

three bottle decanter stand, with three matching cut glass with a pierced stand decorated with rocaille motifs and puttos supported upon foliate scrolling feet. 800/1000 silver hallmarked "800" and "Basios".
Sotirio Voulgaris (Bulgari) married Elena Basios and from their union bornt Costantino Giorgio Bulgari. In 1924 was founded in Rome the "Società anonima Albrizio e Basios per il commercio oggetti artistici e argenteria"; the company was managed by Nicola Basios, Giorgio Basios and Giuseppe Albrizio and Costantino Bulgari sat on the board of directors. Nicola Basios was in fact the uncle of Costantino Bulgari, brother of Elena Basios.
Dimensions 27.8 x 9 x 35 cm with handles and stoppers. Total weight 2975 g.
Item condition grading: **** good (a very small non visible chips on the corner of one decanter).
Accompanied by Ce.S.Ar. Centro Studi Archeometrici certificate of auntenticity.
