A GEORGE III STERLING SILVER (925‰) SALVER - THOMAS ROBIN, LONDON 1810-1811; modelled rim with scroll and shell borders enclosing an engraved interior centering a cartouche with the Armorials of "Sir William Richmond, Baronet, of Astrop, Northamptonshire " with the motto "est concordia fratrum" (harmony becomes brothers); standing on four feet. The coat of arms and the ornamental engraving are probably later engraved. Fully hallmarked on the underside. Diameter 65 cm. Weight circa 6300 gr. Item condition grading: **** good.
