The panel bears brush sign in the lower right-hand corner:"D. TENIERS", and an old label with a pen inscription on the back: "SIGNED PICTURE / BY D. TENIERS / 1610-1694 / IN THE DARK SHADOW IN LOWER RIGHT HAND CORNER / CAN BE READ ‘D. TENIER[…]”.
