French bronze sculpture depicting equilibrium - signed MARTEN

Art Deco chryselephantine bronze and ivory sculpture depicting a woman with the head, arms and feet made of elephant ivory (Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797 or Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758) balancing on a sphere, resting on a marble base bearing the signature ""Marten"".

Height x width x depth: 39.5 x 18 x 8 cm. Weight: 2850 g.

Item condition grading: ***** excellent.

Accompanied by CITES certificate.
