German bronze sculpture of a male figure - signed SCHTIMPE

Art Deco chryselephantine sculpture depicting a young boy in medieval dress with a dagger at his waist, with elephant ivory face and hands (Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797 or Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758). Marble base. Signed at the base 'Schrimpe'.

Height x width x depth: 35 x 10 x 9 cm. Weight: 2900 g.

Item condition grading: ***** excellent.

Accompanied by CITES certificate.
