Pair of silver sculptures depicting fishes, signed ATTILIO DE LUCA

made in ""lost wax"" casting and then chiselled by hand. 800/1000 silver, hallmarked '* 221NA - fonderia Delmar'. The historic Delmar-Gemito foundry was founded in 1887 by Vincenzo De Luca and the Neapolitan sculptor Vincenzo Gemito. Vincenzo De Luca, a master craftman specialising in bronze casting, was the grandfather of the foundry's current director, master sculptor and modeller Attilio De Luica (1930-...).
