A POLYCHROME EMBROIDERED SILK 'DRAGON' PANEL
China, Qing dynasty, 18th-19th century

Finely decorated with a scene of three dragons flying amidst clouds stylized as lingzhi, lightning bolts, bats and flower arrangements in vases, below stylized waves, three rocky peaks and twice the wan (“thousands”) character, the perimeter with non pertinent silk stripes, the upper side with rings for hanging it.
