Korea, Goryeo dynasty, 12th-13th century

The flattened circular body decorated with a dense series of concentric circles in slight relief.

The shape of this kind of flask is somewhat reminiscent of a turtle.
Used to contain water or alcoholic beverages, these containers could be suspended from the belt with a lace.
