GOLTZ HUBERT. VIVAE OMNIUM FERE IMPERATORUM IMAGINES. Antwerp 1557

In folio Posterior binding from the early 20th century, with plates partially detached and spine with defects. Title page and page 139 missing, but present as they were presumably handwritten in the 18th century. Page 97 with a small hole. Interesting volume which presents over one hundred engravings of portraits of emperors and is known as it represents one of the first chiaroscuro printing processes in which a combination of engraved plates was used and wooden blocks.
