Nero (54-68), Sestertius, Lugdunum, c. AD 66; AE (g 22,64; mm 35; h 7); IMP NERO CAESAR AVG PONT MAX TR POT P P, laureate head r., globe at point of bust, Rv. Nero standing l. on low platform with praetorian prefect at his side, raising r. hand in address to three soldiers, of whom the two in front carry standards; in the background, the praetorian camp; in field, S - C; in ex. ADLOCVT COH. RIC 490; C -.
Very rare, bold portrait and detailed reverse. Green patina, minor flan crack, anyway about extremely fine.
