Roman bronze Venus
2nd - 3rd century AD; height cm 12,3 (5’’); Depicted resting on the left leg with the left hand holding the hair.
Resemblig to the ‘Anadyomene’ type that show the goddess in the act of wringing her wet hair.

PROVENANCE:
From a German private collection, acquired in the 2000s.
