Neoclassical cameo of a youth with hair-band, agate, 21 x 18 mm. This resembles a depiction of Apollo without distinctive signs, but it is in fact a copy of a pre-1787 female head on yellow carnelian – a Daughter of Niobe – by Nathaniel Marchant (1739-1816).
