Roman carnelian intaglio. Eros and Psyche. Young, winged Cupid an arm in front of a butterfly laying on a sceptre (?). Next to this it's placed an altar (or container). The extensive chipping doesn't allow a complete interpretation of this interesting and unusual scene. 1st-2nd century A.D.; 10x9x5x2 mm;
