A roman sard intaglio. Eagle head. The animal is turned to the left, and is characterized by a large beak, curved and pointed, and a thick plumage. A particularly lucky iconography during the roman imperial period, since a symbol of political domain and military strength. Light chipping in the lower section. 1st - 2nd century A.D.
