DIVO NERVAE - TRAIANO, laureate head r.; in l. field, Gonzaga eagle, Rv. EVTIME NIKA TVRIFICATORAS, charioteer standing facing, holding two palm-branch, between two horses. Sabatier 40.
Edge cut in ancient time, dark patina, very fine.

From the Gonzaga Collection, first formed under the guidance of Isabella d'Este (1474-1539), and further built upon by her descendants. The mark was applied to all of the coins in the collection by the early 17th century.
