A CARVED, LACQUERED AND GILT WOOD ALTAR OFFERING BOX
China, Qing dynasty

26 x 33,7 x 13,7 cm

The lower hexagonal base with a painted and gilt landscape on a black lacquered ground on one side, some figures among trees and rocks on the other side, the upper part standing on six legs with pierced floral motifs between each of them, every side with a pierced composition with figures and objects.

Provenance: an Italian private collection.
