Sicily, Syracuse, Second Democracy (465-405), Tetradrachm, c. 440-430 BC; AR (g 17,22; mm 26; h 9); Charioteer driving fast quadriga l., holding kentron and reins; above flying Nike crowning horses, in ex. ketos, Rv. ΣYRAKOΣIΩN, head of Arethusa l., wearing earrings and necklace; around, four dolphins. Boehrigher 598; SNG Budapest 336.
