San Benedetto Po 1856 – Roma 1929

Important correspondence consisting of fourteen signed autograph letters (most of which on tightly written postcards) dating back to the chronological period 1891-1920, by the criminologist and politician, director of the daily newspaper 'Avanti!' and secretary of the PSI in 1896. He was also a pupil of Cesare Lombroso. They are addressedto the 'Corriere della sera' writer and journalist Augusto Guido Bianchi. The material consists of an interesting range of news about Ferri's thriving intellectual and political activity, with plenty of contens referred to his scientific studies on criminal sociology.
