A roman faceted agate intaglio. Centaur. The character is turned on the left side, playing the double flute (tibiae), wearing a little branch on his back. Ground line. Attractive variety of agate. Fragmentary on the lower part of the edge. Wear marks and mirror polishing inside the intaglio. 2nd century A.D.
