A roman carnelian intaglio. Dionysos and Pan. The god is standing turned on the right side, holding the thyrse and a kantharos. Behind him Pan holds the pedum, with a dynamic posture as hellenistic types. Rare iconography. Slights wear marks. 2nd-3rd century A.D.
