Bronze applique with Scylla
2nd- 1st century BC; diam. cm 11 (4’’); A circular-shaped applique with the greek monster Scylla depicted on the sea waves. A probable furniture decoration.
PROVENANCE:
Property of a London gentleman, acquired in the late 1980s and 1990s.
