intaglio 10 x 15 mm; seal 18 mm; gr. 5,66
A bearded old man's head is joined to a young man's bust; the two heads, composed like a two-faced herm in the style of the Grylloi, are joined at the bottom to a skull in three-quarters. Allegory of time, of the age of man and of death. English manufacture. Polychrome enamel on the gold frame. Wear marks.
