Description

An etruscan gold belt hook with reclining figure of a man.
First half of the 6th century B.C.

This belt hook is composed of two rectangular embossed gold sheets, each one with a central figure showing a reclining man. Four perforations at the corner and a double hook joining a double ring composed the attach. The iconography reminds the etruscan sarcophagi reclining figures.
