Description

An eastern greek gold ring set with a turquoise stone (?).
3rd century B.C.
Diam: 16 mm circa Weight: 2,62 gr

Large rounded hoop ending with an oval-shaped bezel. The end of the hoop is decorated by a petal pattern made with gold wire and gold sphere, on each side ( one side damaged). The bezel frame is decorated with triangular sections and granulations (consumed). Setting with a turquoise (?) stone. Wear marks and corrosion.
