A postclassical two-layers agate cameo. Bust of hellenistic ruler.
16th - 18th century
15 x 18 x 7 mm

The young male is facing right, wearing a band (tenia) on top of the head. His hair composed of voluminous wavy locks closed to alexandrine-ptolemaic portraiture. Ears visible. Nose broken (chipped). Probably an ancient stone re-worked in postclassical time.
