A ‘BLUE AND WHITE’ BOWL
China, Ming dynasty, second half of the 16th century

5,5 x 12,5 cm

The exterior decorated with children playing, the centre of the interior with the three Penglai islands among clouds and waves.

Provenance: the collection of a Dutch noblewoman lived in Indonesia, acquired before 1975.
