A FLAMBÉ-GLAZED WATER POT
China, Qing dynasty, 19th century

5 x 10 cm

The compressed globular body standing on a short cylindrical foot, the whole exterior covered with a flambé glaze with dark green and red nuances.

Provenance: the collection of a Dutch noblewoman lived in Indonesia, acquired before 1975.
