Piano Lesson is an original artwork realized by Adolphe Lalauze during the XIX-XX century.
Signed on plate on the lower left. The artwork represents two children playing the piano.
Adolphe Lalauze (1838 – 1906) was an important French etcher, who made illustrations for many books. He studied at the Toulouse École des Beaux-Arts and then he moved to Paris. He held his first exhibition at the Salon in 1872. He became famous for the series Le Petit Monde (The Small World), depicting childhood scenes using his children as models. He was a member of the Société des Artistes Français.
Good conditions, except for tape marks on the left corners of the paper sheet.
