Original print (engraved in the wood), 20 x 18 cm;The original sheet is attached to a white cardboard (48,5 x 32,3 cm).
Child in the flower basket is a fine original print (engraved in the wood) by André Mare (Argentinian, 1885 - 1932), as the typewritten note reports below the image.

Charles André Mare (1885–1932), or André-Charles Mare, was a French painter and designer, the founder of the Company of French Art (la Compagnie des Arts Français) in 1919. He sketched and painted scenes based on his experiences in WWI. His works include: American Troops Marching Through the Arch of Triumph (1930), and The Funeral of Marshal Foch (1931).
In excellent conditions, except for a normal yellowing on the margins and a light foxing on the lower right margin.
