Vino Gran Sasso D'Italia is an original artwork realized in the 1870s by Antonio Manganaro.
This satirical print is plate n. 43 (as printed on the higher part of the artwork) from "The album of the 500" (Album dei 500), Tipografia De Angelis, Naples, and represents a satirical scene of Italian politicians of the late XIX century.
On the right, the caricature of Francesco De Blasiis toasting with Gran Sasso d'Italia wine.
As explained on the back, the portrayed characters are four central-wing politicians: Francesco De Blasiis, Angelo Camerini, Francesco Picone, and Alessandro De Sterlich.
Signed on plate on the lower center: Manganaro.
Good conditions, except for the yellowed paper due to time and some light foxings.
