A graeco-roman agate engraved seal. Ear of corn and inscriptions.

1st century B.C. - 1st century A.D.

11 x 14 x 7 mm

The scaraboid shaped seal is engraved on both side. On the convex side, an ear of corn turned on the left between two greek inscriptions : ΑΤΔΠΧΙ ΝΚΗΕΥ On the reverse, a greek inscriptions : ΦΚΥΕ Attractive colors of the stone. Rare.



U.K., private collection 70's, in the same family since then.
