Description

Italian silver salver - Genoa 1772; ; scalloped rim, raised on three feet. Stamped on the base with "Torretta" mark used by Goldsmiths' Corporation of Genoa in 1772 (Ref. argenti genovesi la Torretta di G.Roccatagliata, ed. Tormena, Genova 1992) and with the "Charancon" French import mark in use after 1864. Diameter 28 cm, height 4.5 cm. Weight 750 gr. Item condition grading: **** good.
