Coeval brown calf (worn binding, carefully restored, upper corner of the back cover completely erased; some marginal tears and old repairs, upper corner of the back cover last leaves worn, without altering the text). Study copy without many leaves, sold as is. Title and last leaf with colophon cut in the margins (in the title the lower part of the text provided in the manuscript). Woodcut vignette in the title, woodcut portrait of Munster on the leaf *6, the 14 double-page woodcut maps are missing (only the left half of the double-page globe is present), 75 other leaves are missing (complete collection available) including at least 23 views of double-page cities (of which 13 are still present here), several single-page views (the double-page woodcut of "land and sea monsters" is missing), and the triple-page Vienna (Worms and Heidelberg are present) . pp. (20), 1429, 1 white, still present about 45 other maps and views in the text; and about 900 small woodcuts in the text (some repeated).
