2nd - 3rd century AD; height mm 21 (0,8’’); gr 0,85; A thin embossed gold lamina with draped bust of Selene, the hair tied up and the crescent moon around, depicted between stars.
Resembling to the portraits of Faustina the Elder (Augusta, AD 138-140).

PROVENANCE:
Private collection, London; acquired on the art market in the 1990s.
