Nineteenth-century copy of an Etruscan scarab, carnelian, 15 x 12 x 9 mm, depicting an athlete scraping his leg with a strigil. Possibly a copy of the 5th-century BC gem inscribed TVTE in the Berlin Museum (14 mm). Nice work, with gold remaining inside the piercing
