An outstanding terra sigillata Cista with Lid
Arretium, 1st century BC - 1st century AD; height cm 28 (11’’); diam. cm 22,5 (9’’); Unadorned Cista with four holes on the inner rim. The Lid is signed by the maker: Certus Rasini and is decorated with tendril-bindings on the edge and around the lid knob.
Unpublished vessel form typology. Wooden restored knob. Invisible hole on the body.
